Hello to all,
I would like to have information regarding to this Omega wristwatch from 1950s. It is from my grandfather who passed away in 1981. I’m trying to identify its exact model and production year. It is swiss made as it appears. The watch is made of gold 14k and with a leather strap. The dial shows some kind of aging but you can still see the classic Omega logo. At the back of the dial my grandfather’s name and surname is written. Any help or insights from experts here would be greatly appreciated!

You need to have it opened up and on the inside of the case back should be a reference number for this model. It doesn't have a name, it's simply an Omega Automatic.

Unfortunately, its original case is not present. That’s why i could not identify. Maybe there is an expert who can identify it from the pictures shown.

As noted above, please have the case opened and post photos of the inside. Although I suspect that it's a nationally cased watch, so it may not have an Omega reference number.

That was my suspicion too.

Unfortunately it is not present. Is there anyone who can identify it just looking at it? :/

What specific information do you need, and why is it so critical? When you get the watch in your hands, you can take it to a watchmaker and have it opened, and that way you will get as much accurate information as possible.

I’m not trying to be rude, but what exactly is going on with this watch? Dial looks quite askew within the case, center seconds despite having a sub second layout, and the hands all look far too small. Additionally, all the lugs look bent in some way but the 7 o’clock lug is significantly bent inwards. Regardless of that, the OP states the original case is not present…

Makes me wonder what exactly the OP is trying to identify?

I wonder what is the exact model of this watch
It is impossible to tell you without any information about the movement.

Omega did not have a model name for every watch they made.

So now he knows it is model 2482 from 1952? What was all the crap about identification then?

Don't take us for fools, if you are market trader just say so, it saves a lot of time and bullshit.

ps C24 isn't full of mugs, you wont sell that junk at that money.

pps using blur to hide that there is an inscription (and not mentioning that the back is inscribed) is a dick move.

You sure have a knack for finding these and calling out the bs

:bondcat:
It's a nice distraction at work. I highly suspect that OP is sufiwatch with a new account. Same writing style, same country and same demanding tone.

Not!

As noted by others, the smell of deceit was strong with this one.

The topic has ended. I went to watch specialist and I learnt exactly what our watch is. I’m not related with that account. You just like to throw some kind of words around with prejudices not listening to others. My original aim was already to sell it. That’s all.
