The dial looks to be from a 20357 or 20360 - do you have more photos to post? Cheers.

And in reference to the OP again - the black dial case is a 869111/01, so should have the same crown as the white dial has next to it.

Quick shot here. How can one determine the ref. number from a dial?

I don't think that any Polerouter (no date) had a screw down crown.

However there were some later Polerouter Date references (the cases without the bombe lugs) with screw down crowns - I think 869113, 869115 and 869119.

In addition, there were screw down crowns on the Polerouter Sub (2nd Gen) and Polerouter Super but I don't think that is what you were after.

thanks, thats what I was lead to believe from browsing through all the threads and sales posts. one seller was very rude last time i asked about his polerouter and just never responded. Yup, no date polerouter, still hunting, appreciate the info!

Here is my ref.20368-1 (Cal.215-9).
I think this crown is correct as it came from the original owner with service record.
I have few spare stocks, so holler at me if anyone needs one.
Taka, show us a photo of your polerouter. That midnight sky full of stars dial looks amazing!!

All this talk about correct crowns has me in a rush to go home and look at mine.

I need a spare crown for a 218-2, Steel, ref: 869111. I'll have a crown from a 215-2 (not sure of ref # but it is steel) that I can exchange if you need it. But I'm very eager to find the one I need if you have it for sale.

all 869111 should have a caliber 69 Microtor (8= steel case, 69= caliber, 111=case specific shape).

Hi. Attached are some screen caps of the watch I just purchased. It's coming in this week. I don't have a shot of the case back but I've been told it may be the ref. # may be polished out, but it was listed as a 869111. Do you have any clue from these photos? The watch looks to be in very fine condition and I've heard on one ad that a few Polerouter Dates do indeed have unsigned crowns but that seems very odd to me. Thanks in advance for your kind, generous help! This is such a cool community!

Do you have a shot of the back, and the crown side?
If it is an 869111 case, it will have 19 mm lug width, 30.6-30.7 mm plexi diameter, 35.0-35.5 mm case diameter, and a particular shape to the case and the back of the case.

Hi. I am attaching some photos but here are the facts. The case back has been roughed up. At just the right angle, under a loop I can make out a portion of the Polerouter "Over the Pole" logo and I did find where the ref # and serial # rubbed away. I can't make out any of the figures in the ref #, but I think the first three digits of the ser. # may have been 2140. Other facts: 218-2 movement as pictured by the previous owner. I don't own equip. to open it open up, diam w/out crown measures 34.5-35mm (my best measure), lug width is 18. My best guess, using your Ref table and photos is that this is either a 20467/2 or 204612. By elimination based on measurements, and movement I'm thinking this is very probably 20467/2 — which is nice for you because there's no image of it in the image gallery.

So.. anyway, I am seeking a proper replacement crown and I think I should purchase a new crystal as mine has a hairline crack that has not become a fracture but that will surely one day give out.

I know this thread is from a few years ago, and I'm hoping to bump it.
Purchased a Polerouter 215-9 from an estate sale. Were some crowns unstamped?

How do I go about finding one (assuming it will be reasonably priced)? I know sizing and stamp design vary. Does it go by model reference or serial number? TIA
