Hi everyone! Really need some advise here, i managed to find an Omega Moonphase as attached picture, i love the watch as I have been searching for it for quiet sometimes. But it is clearly a redial, and the second hand has been replaced with red hand. The question is, should i proceed to buy with this conditions or should i just wait. The seller wanted USD3,500 for it.

Yes, i feel the same way too. Thanks

I am confused. If you agree that you would never buy a redialed watch, then why are you asking for advice as to whether you should buy this redialed piece?

Whatever the price, I wouldn't buy a redialed...

If you like it, the price is right and know it is a redial, what is wrong with buying a redial?
It is all about fun!

At that price pass if redial doesn’t bother you there are better ones about for less money
I have been looking for one of these for a while
Just missed a nice jumbo om eBay a few weeks ago
All original except winding crown I think it went for just over £2000
Keep looking

Snowman, Errr this one?

All that glitters is not gold, watch is okay but has issues, was described as serviced! Hour hand knocks the date hand forwards between 10th and 21st of the month and time keeping is very erratic. I like the watch but will need to invest in a service to get it where I want it to be.

Yes that’s the one if you don’t know already it was originally up for sale on the vision vintage website. For £3200 for quite some time
I think it’s quite a nice jumbo
Congrats

The odd thing was I first saw it on their IG feed. Saying it's listed on the shop. I looked and could not find it, other people looked and commented that they could not find it. I just assumed it was picked up quickly and removed from the site, I never saw it either in the available or recently sold lists.

Then spotted another IG post for it amongst a few others going on ebay, I guess that's how he clears stock. It's about the only one I've seen recently that looks to have an original dial. So many that you see have really bad redials with spacing of the logo and "OMEGA" all wrong and interfering with the windows.

He's just posted a nice looking 2471 but it's priced accordingly.

I was also looking at non Omega moonphase watches such as Breitling Lunodat, Movado, Pierce etc. Glad I picked this up and will look to send it to service later this year to get it running better, not advancing 10 days overnight and possibly to have the fingerprint removed from the dial...

I know what you mean so much expensive. Rubbish out there
I saw the other one listed but a bit rich for my blood
I also thought with the prices changed the pieces sold would be right on the button
Still I think you got it for the right money
Best Regards

Is yours the one from Vintage Vision Watches?
