Yep, it’s done by Rolex. Where are you in the uk? Will be a lot quicker if you can drop it directly into RSC at either st James london or the service centre in Kent.

The good news is it’s a quick fix although having it shipped from AD etc will take longer. Mine was 8-10 days dropped off direct with st James.

After my last post I did a bit more googling about it and found the Rolex service centre number and called them and they said just that. Drop it off and it’ll take about 10 days. I work in the City so should be able to dash over to St James one lunchtime (they’re open mon-sat, 9-5).

Once the date issue is fixed, is it fixed for good or does it reoccur?

So, my local dealer has one in stock on the bracelet. They might take my 116523 Daytona off me as a trade - about €6k coming to me too.
What do you think? For context, I have a 116519 Daytona too so that itch will remain scratched.
Would you do this deal and have the cash in the bank ready for something else?

Mine is currently in for a date-fix service at St James, London. Took it in 2 weeks ago. I was originally told it would take approx 7-10 days, but received an email today saying

“supply issue in Geneva that is preventing us from being able to obtain the necessary components that we require to return your watch to full working order.”

So maybe a little more in depth than just a bit of lubrication, which is what I was told was all that was probably needed (probably obviously being the optimal word). Shame it is delayed, but the email was very polite and apologetic so hopefully it won’t be too much longer. Really wanted to wear it on a trip abroad that’s coming up in a couple of weeks.

My AD says it's a 4-month wait for a BB58, which is consistent with what I've been told by other dealers. I have 2 months to go!

In the meantime, I did land the BB GMT with only a 5-to-6-week wait! Couldn't be happier with it. Nice and solid (heavy in a good way), and just pops on the wrist.

And just arriving today, after a total of 5, not 4, months, the BB58. What a perfect watch.

Nice - congrats. The Tudor of choice as far as I am concerned.

Going to collect mine this evening which I'm rather excited about after a 12 month wait!
Anyone in the UK - are tudor offering a 0%? Better in my bank than theirs!

I bought mine from an AD (I am not aware of Tudor standalone boutiques and I’m in London). It was a normal high street jeweller, Earnest Jones, and they offered 0%, so I think it depends on the specific shop you go to. I decided not to take it as I was asking questions about the T&Cs of the loan and the salesperson was struggling to answer so I figured it was safer/easier to buy outright.

Is the fix applied from the factory now?
