That’s always the same with vintage watches.

- Quality
- Availability
- Good Price

Pick two of the above, you almost never get to have all three. If you need it now, you can generally get a quality example but it’ll cost you.
If you’re patient and prepared to do your research you’ll be able to find a quality example at a good price.

Obviously with the OP watch no one has yet decided that balance is worth paying such a premium for.
As many times I have read this advice I never tire of it. I, like most in early stage of collecting, have succumbed to wanting all 3 and overpaying, but fortunately they were Seiko and the lesson was not too painful.
