Pic from several minutes ago...Mad Dog and @ChuckMK23 setting up the Lionel USN flat cars with the Lionel USN UH-1D helos for the Christmas train...sporting our modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatches...

Transporting with rotors on!

😲

Easy to tell you two are Flyers, not Fixers.

Earlier, I substituted a spoof shot of Alfred E. Newman, instead of a picture of myself. But since so many of you have taken to contributing to this thread with a real photo, I will too. I had the honor of being selected as “Heritage Craftsman” by the City of Calgary Heritage Authority in 2012 as a result of significant work I did on the 1910 Seth Thomas 16A tower clock in our original City Hall. A grand soirée was held, and the numerous award recipients were asked to speak. Ms. C. shot this while I was giving my spiel. I have added a link which takes you to a video, of the award announcement on local television, and as part of the video, the Seth Thomas is shown. I am shown with my master machinist friend Trevor Beatson, both standing by the clock.

For me, this is a really meaningful post. A proud Calgarian (grew up in Haysboro), I remember that clock well. Indeed, I always glance up at it as I trundle towards the East Village for breakfast when visiting friends and family back home. Well done, Sir.

Hello Achim
Just a few years ago, better times.... The watch, unfortunately, is also not an Omega and not a Doxa, its a PP 3970, the last new watch I ever bought new (in 1986) .. and have sold in the meantime... Please note pants and socks!
Happy Xmas from Old Europe
Richard
Just saw a tan 300SL on 101N around Oxnard four hours ago. My first ever sighting of the legend in action.

And now, yours. Synchronicity.

Tough shot, that. Surprised to have made it.

@M'Bob, here's a couple for you. Seems that it's hard to find me in pics, especially without my darlin' or my girls..

Hey Oddboy, what's Cameron Diaz like in real life?

Ok - here‘s a Swiss fellow - doing 1/8 mile vintage drag racing, so most of the pictures taken from me are comming from there

Well here's me with wife number 1 age 20 in 1978.
And with wife number 2 age 35 in 1992.
And now, just two days ago with wife number 3 age 60 in 2017.
Complete with my Dad's 105.012-65 getting me to the wedding on time.

As you can see chaps... losing 2 houses through 2 divorces has taught me FAKK ALL!😟

Nice simple afternoon with some, very nice, South Americans that I've never fakkin well seen before.

That's me on the right with Robert-Jan Broer at the top of the Tokyo Skytree. I was participating in the Fratello Watches Grand Seiko Experience Japan tour in September of this year. It was a great experience spending five days with other watch nerds touring the various Grand Seiko venues and exploring Japan.

Wearing my 1969 Speedy 145.022 sourced right here on OF.
And I always think of you dressed so much more formally ......

Not generally one for photos - so this taken by a colleague in Kuwait earlier this year.
Pleased to be back in Blighty for the holidays.
A very Happy Christmas to all and your families.

.......when I need a lesson in history, I just turn to the lyrical mastery of Boney M. Kids! Who needs school eh!!!!
