8806 Keyless Works Problem

I have a 2017 Railmaster with the caliber 8806. The watch runs and the rotor winding works. In position 2 the hacking and setting function works. However in position 1 there is no resistance and the watch will not wind manually.
Is this an issue anyone has run into with this or a related movement? Any thoughts on the repair cost?

Doesn’t that have the 5-year warranty? If so, service will be $0 from Omega because this is a warranty issue. If it is the old 3-year period, then you can either do a regular service at $550, or try to find a watchmaker willing to look at just the crown issue without any service. Don’t know how much that would be (if you can find someone willing to do only that).

Unfortunately it’s the three year. I was looking to see if anyone had run into this problem. I’ll take it to my local watchmaker on Monday. I just got the watch pre-owned from a dealer who has offered to pay for the repair or take it back full refund. I’ll decide based on the feedback from the watchmaker.
