Hallo,

i have a question on lifting the hour wheel of the cannon pinion.
According to the service manual, setting of the cannon pinion and the hour wheel are the last steps of the assembly.

However when i try to lift the hour wheel, i cant get passed the hour hammer, that somehow sits above the hour wheel.

Do i understand it correctly, it is not necessary to disassemble the hour recorder-bridge in order to take the hour wheel out?

Thank you!

Fully press the reset button to move the hammer onto the hour recording wheel, and you can lift the hour wheel off the CP.

Cheers, Al

Thank you Archer, it worked very well!

I cleaned the cannon pinion and placed it back, now time setting works again 馃憤

However i noticed the end shake on the chronograph runner is significant. Not sure if its normal. It does seem to engage but i am a bit worried.

The chronograph runner has a lot of end shake - that's normal. The friction spring lifts it up into the jewel in the chronograph bridge, but in the other direction it will have a lot of movement.
