My latest pawnshop find; a nice and clean '71 Oyster Precision, such a clean li'll piece. And with one of the smoothest hand-winding action I've felt for a while (I'm a sucker for a smooth winding watch - LOL).

A couple of shots:

That's a stunner. And I know what you mean about smooth winding. When I first wound my Seamaster 2503, I thought it was broken----it felt like nothing was connected.

Thanks for sharing! Very nice! That's the way I'd like to own a Rolex.

I prefer handwound watches to automatic winding. The daily little ritual of winding a watch allows me to savour the mechanical aspect of my hobby.

Nice watch OP 👍

Nice watch OP 👍

except for watches with screw-down crowns ... where cross-threading is an accident waiting to happen

I agree halfway with u, I too like to manual wind a watch but what I dont like about the Rolex is the screw in crown, I have stripped a few of there threads due to daily winding.

That 1675 bezel is gorgeous.

The Rolex OPs are some of my favorites. They're no-nonsense and built like tanks
