hi, help needed.
came across this rolex vintage for sale, is this original rolex by any chance?

Caution. Unless you can steal it, avoid it.

A/ Indicates non-original tension spring on the sweep seconds pinion.

B/ Sloppy work. Chewed up bridge around detent screw.

C/ Rust on crown wheel.

D/ Rust on ratchet wheel.

What other hidden horrors? Dial May have been refinished.

thanks a bunch, my limited knowledge is telling me not to get my hands on it, now confirmed by the 'experts'. 😀

I agree with Canuck, its mucky and messy. It could be renovated though, at a cost.
