6138 and 6139 service

Hi everyone,
According to Seiko's website, they are running out of some parts for these models. (see attached photo) Has anyone had experience lately with having these reference models serviced by Seiko? Are there alternatives for service? I want to pick up one of these models but am apprehensive due to what their website says.
