Anyone know what size screwdriver to get to size the bracelet? The screwdriver I have now is too small and I'm afraid of striping the slots if I use too much pressure.
You need a 1.8mm. 1.4mm could potentially strip the screw.

This is good advise. Bought a pre-owned tudor in overall mint condition but I didn't check two links in the box which are no longer functional as they have been stripped. Need to get replacement links from the RSC.

Out of curiosity, why are some of you 'reluctant' to have your OB or AD size the bracelet? Did you have a bad prior experience? Perhaps, you like a challenge? I, myself, would be paranoid. I wish I had your confidence!

As an FYI, my wrist size is approximately 6.7". They had to take out 3 links on each side of the bracelet. I love the micro adjustment, which is quite valuable with the ever changing New England weather here in Boston this fall.

I got mine from an out of state AD. I guess I could go to a local OB/AD to get it resized but there's a little more friction going to a place I've never bought anything from. Plus I haven't had issues with resizing my other watches so why not I guess?

I'm finding the bracelet a little too "blingy" and chunky, particularly the clasp. That being said, on a leather strap, this watch is just fantastic!

I can totally relate to the friction at a place you've never bought anything from. But, it also looks like you have prior experience, which is great!

I don't have a watchmaker in my town, so best to do what I can myself.

Hello Mach
It is very great that you live in Boston!
I had a business trip there for a week in this summer, it’s a very beautiful city. I also completed my dream for the Red Sox baseball game on Fenway park😀
I Love Boston ~

A question for owners of both this and the conventional Speedy (3570.50) 42mm version. I know the 60th-anniversary model is supposed to be smaller in terms of case size but apparently the lug length is longer which therefore means it wears almost the same as the 42mm. I have small wrists (about 6.5) and the pictures that I've seen shared here, it would appear that this watch would sit very identical to the 42mm version. For reference, the 3570.50 that I own appears too big on my wrist and part of the appeal of putting my name up for this model was that it would feel less large comparatively, but if that's not the case, I may have to reconsider getting this at all, despite how great it looks in these pictures.

I think it wears slightly smaller. Mine just arrived and I only have tried it on at the AD. But its my firm belief that it wears smaller. I will post some wrist shots comparing the two of them. The best is of course if you just try it on. I think you will fall in love! And then some pics....

Hi fizz,

Although I only have the FOIS to compare the 60th Anniversary with, and not the 42mm Moonwatch, I do have a 6.5" wrist like you. So perhaps my experience may be of some help?

The Speedy 60th wears just as comfortably on my wrist as does the 40mm diameter, 47mm lug to lug FOIS. I do not find its 1.5mm or so longer lug to lug dimension any more noticeable. However the caveat is that different wrist shapes and personal perceptions vary. Of course the ultimate test is trying the watch on your wrist.

I think you might be surprised when you do. But before I forget, I wear mine on a leather strap. On the bracelet it could look different again.

Hope I haven't confused you too much!

I've owned a 42mm Moonwatch for about 18 months years ago and it did feel bigger to me then most 42mm watches and I ended up moving it. After two days of wearing the 60th on the braclet it feels like a 39.5 to 40mm watch to me. If you thought the Moonwatch was too big this should be perfect for you. When I first looked at the 60th when it arrived, I though oh wow this thing looks small but after sizing it, it was fine. My wrist is 7 inches or alittle under.

As a WIS with a slender wrist (my left watch wearing wrist is 6.75) I have passed up watches due to size (eg new autavia). Anyway this is watch the ST and 60th look on my 6.75 wrist:

IMHO, I would say this is the one 'Achilles heel' of all Speedmasters: regardless of the case diameter, the lug to lug length is approximately identical for all at ~48mm. For reference, my wrist size is ~6.7".

I only own the Trilogy Speedy. To be frank, I had a lot of anxiety regarding the lug to lug length. But, I couldn't be happier with the overall 'fit' of the Trilogy Speedy.

Don't forgot, the camera can play tricks. I remember showing some photos of my Trilogy Speedy to another collector in my area. At first, he said it was too big for me. But, when he saw it in person, his response was, "Is that the same watch? That's perfect for you!"

Got mine today. Removing the bracelet is a bit tricky. Need to push down on both end of the pins to remove it. But it's a lovely watch. Hesitating between wearing and fliping the watch.
