I spoke to someone at the Chicago OB today and he indicated they have a single manufacturing company they own to make speedy cases and because of all the editions they are still waiting for the 60th speedy cases to be manufactured. This same OB told me last week they still expected them this month so lots of varying info.

He said they were hoping for September. Not sure what's true or not but thought I would pass along.

Anyone else heard anything?

I'm sticking with my post of 7th August, Omega said deliveries would start 'around September/October' which probably means late September at the earliest, as others have said it will be a Christmas present to myself!

I was in my AD in Winchester last Friday taking in one of my wife's watches, and they had less information than me.

The one firm date I do have is the 6th September to pick up my 60th Anniversary poster from the framers, so a least I have that to look forward to.

So is it genuine? Maybe it is the angle, but compared to the other watch in the photo, the Speedy case looks bigger than 38.6mm and the strap is not one that comes with the official watch. However, it sure would be nice if the 60th Speedy was finally shipping.

Based on the other photos on his account it definitely looks smaller on his wrist than his Speedy Tuesday. Im assuming its just the angle making it appear larger. Hopefully we'll start seeing more crop up soon.

The ranchero is a very small watch. That explains the relative size of the speedmaster.

That could still be the demo models that went around to OB's after the Basel show. Before I believe anything else, I want to see an exclamatory post saying, "Hey, World! I just got the very first Speedmaster '57 LE to roll out of Switzerland!"

Initially I thought that was a review unit.

If you look at his comments he confirms that the watch is in fact the 60th speedy. Wonder where he's located

Well, good for him and everyone who's been waiting if he's gotten his delivered!

Yes, of course it is the speedy 60th anniversary! The question is whether it is one of the 5-to-10-review watches that have been handed to Fratello, a few others and a few boutiques, or if it is the first one that has been delivered to a client. When you look at his Instagram, he has not replied to this question. So, in summary, we still do not know if deliveries have started.

Seems to be a review unit with Fratello.

It's fun reading about all the excitement surrounding these watches. But in all honesty, these do nothing for me. Now an Italian Albino!

Not sure about anyone else here but I can't seem to get onto Fratello something about new website under construction

The link is kinda corrupted. If you go straight to fratello's site, then you will be able to get access to the review.
