Nice to see 'in the flesh' pictures becoming more prevalent.

I agree, McJames! I'm looking forward to seeing it in person, especially in natural light. I'd 'really' like to see it on the brown strap that it comes with! I'll be attending an OB event this coming Wednesday celebrating the 60th. I hope the Trilogy collection is there. My rep. has not confirmed that they will be.

Would love to see a shot on that strap as well. If its there, see if you can sweet talk someone into doing a strap change for you! 😉

These look amazing.
I stopped by my Omega Boutique last night and it is confirmed to be $7250 for the Speedmaster
Trying to decide between this and the Speedmaster 57 with cal 9300.
Decisions decisions.

These photos reinforce how much I really like these watches, and how sad I am about the 'trilogy' text on the full set.

I know how you feel, BT. Please remind me, did you place a deposit on the Trilogy set? Honestly, that small detail would be a deal breaker for me. For me, adding the word Trilogy and the number to the face defeats the purpose of Omega going through the painstaking process of providing us with a watch that is as close to the original as possible. To me, the watches haven't gained anything. For the first time in 60 years Omega is giving us the opportunity to go back in time to 1957. That small out-of-place detail won't allow the Trilogy set owners to do this. If I had the the $21,000, and I actually lusted after all three, I would purchase all three individually. Just my 2 cents.

This is something I have been struggling with the last two months. Buy a Speedy, and maybe the Seamaster, and then add a Railmaster if/ when the reseller prices dip? Or jump all-in for the full set? These will go to my son in 20 or 25 years, and he will potentially have them for 45+ years after that. So the thought of the full set is attractive, as maybe the set will prove over a 50+ year timeframe to be sought after.

I do not have a formal reservation for either singles or the trio, but I have an agreement with someone who has reserved both to do a deal one way or the other once the watches are delivered.

I know what you guys mean, I haven't completely made peace with the trilogy text. I do know if it bothers me enough (right now I'm being optimistic since I don't notice the text in that location like the snoopy that much) a dial swap would always be possible and I can keep the original trilogy dials for a rainy day. It was more important to me to ensure the numbers match wanting all three watches. If I didn't care about that, for sure I'd buy them separate.

wow I didn't know you can do a dial swap. Who would provide the dial? Omega?

Swatch usually makes Omega dials available around a year after the watch's release.....and if you know people with a parts account they can order the dials....after that it's just a matter of having a watchmaker to do the work.

Not that easy, it seems like, since they sometimes ask to send an old dial back.

But if someone has part numbers for a dial, could help some people find out.

Anyone else for DMV going?
