·Continuing my clearance with a steel IWC from the 50's with the legendary cal 853 automatic movement.
The case has wear but looks unpolished to my eye, very sharp edges and nice contrasting brushed/polished parts. Case is 34mm excluding the crown thats probably not original and has wear, 18mm lugs.
Cream white dial with silver furniture that is overall pretty well perserved except two circular marks under the center and the automatic text, these disappear in some lights and is more visible in others. The lume has darkened and is very consistent over the dial and hands, the lume plot at 6 o'clock in the pearled track have made a bigger imprint.
Automatic cal 853 movement that is running strong with good accuracy, but no known service history.
(The watch will be sold head only and not include the bracelet on some of the pictures)
Price: Reduced to 750EUR head only net to me. I’m located in Sweden.
