Are people experiencing better performance with the 3861 in terms of accuracy? I am wondering if the coaxial escapement is having a noticeable impact. Thanks

Mine runs 1 second fast per day, much better than my 1861 which constantly runs 5+ seconds fast.

The other improvement of 3861 is the longer actual power reserve, which has been well recorded by other forum members. Many have reported 60+ hours of PR (without using the chronograph function) and my personal watch is no exception at around 63 hours.

Yep, mine is also around +1s or slightly less. And I've also noticed a 60ish hour PR. All around very happy with the performance.

The accuracy of 3861 is phenomenal, almost quartz’s level.
And it doesn’t depend on power reserve, very stable.

Mine averages a little shy of +1 sec per day. On wrist it’s about +2. Stored crown up it’s close to 0.

I'm doing fine with the A11 50SS:
How do you keep your watch in the “6 up” position? Do you mount the watch head in a clamp?

When do you actually wear the watch?

No, just upright in the box with the pillow as backing, it didn't get in this week's rotation so Nov 5th was when it was worn last.

Ah, that never occurred to me but so obvious now that you mention it. Thanks for inspiring my next round of watch timing measurements!
