Here's what that that dial looks like in a 376.0822.
Notice the gap between the dial markings and the chapter ring. Also, there should be a "10" next to the index at 2 o'clock.
And a lume dot next to the date window. Speedmater fonts are off, look at "S".
And some other things.....

Never said it would look good, just that Omega considers it a proper replacement for that case reference.

in other words, don't send your Holy Grail to Omega for servicing! 😀

Imagine the look on Chuck's face if he knew what these watches change hands for these days, I think he got his for about $2700 or something

The highest sale price for one of these I am aware of is 20,000$, in 2007.

I'm guessing Omegamania though, everything was going a bit crazy that particular day

The price was significantly impacted by Omegamania. Most sales around that time were closer to half that price.

Does make you wonder though if we had another Omegamania 2.0 auction in 2015 what we'd see... I'd have half my rarer pieces in there with a big reserve set just to see what happened

Although one could argue that Omegamania taught us a lesson, the one thing we can truly rely on is human nature. So my guess is that Omegmania 2.0 would be similar to 1.0, providing a similar promotional campaign was deployed.
