Just bought (yesterday!) this 2nd Gen Seamaster 300M Titanium Chronograph 2293.52 and I really like it, but the bracelet would fit just a bit better with a half link or with an adjustable clasp. I’m a newby here but I have spent a fair bit of time searching for any threads that might have information to let me know if such a thing is possible but I haven’t come up with anything. The bracelet is 20mm with no taper and has pins and not screws. On the clasp is 1613/934 and the end links are TI 934. I don’t see a number on the bracelet so I’m guessing it’s 1613. Is there any way to get a half link or a micro adjusting clasp to work? I guess it’s even more difficult because it’s titanium but I think I could live with a steel half link. Thanks for any help!

I did find a half link online and ordered it. I hope it is the correct part. Still would be really interested in converting to an adjustable clasp, even if brushed steel and not titanium.

I doubt a new adjustable clasp will fit. They require the modern screw and pin system to connect to the bracelet, not the older pin and collar system.

115TI1610 - this is a titanium 1/2 link for a 1610 bracelet from a Seamaster. It is the only one I can see that might work in this situation, as there is no official 1/2 link for the 1613 bracelet that I can find.

I found a 115TI1613 at a place called WatchBandExpert, although the pic shows an Omega bag labeled 114 but the 4 looks overwritten by a 5 so I’m hopeful that a half link arrives and not a regular link. I’m still wondering whether a 20mm micro adjusting clasp could fit as I did see some suggestions that with the right parts the newer screw clasps can be made to work with the older pin type links. I’ll probably have to go to a boutique and be hopeful that they are willing to explore the possibilities. The watch is heavier, even in titanium, than other watches that I’ve worn and the need for a good fit seems to be magnified.

Thank you for the replies so far. Here’s an update, the vendor for the half link I ordered has emailed that it is no longer in stock. Interestingly, I called Swatch Group and was able to order it although it is not in stock and was told 4-6 weeks. Do orders like this on long discontinued items become available or should I continue to search for the half link? Thanks again.

it seems to me you know the answer to your own question:

Call me a cynical, but I’m kind of used to being told one thing about ‘Not in Stock” and it ending up being NLA in the realm of car parts and other things. I’m kind of hoping that someone on here chimes in with “oh, I have a spare one”. Thanks

For my speedmaster X-33 which got discontinued in '06, I could still order a OEM kevlar strap in '21 so I'm not worried that your link could still be in stock.
