    Hi,

1804**** is outside the "movement numbers seen" in MWO for that reference - Would you buy such a watch though?

    Thanks :)

    ILMS says 2998-4

Yes, I'm afraid the movement could be to early for that reference

sometimes these numbers reflect light in such a way that the number appears totally wrong in pictures. This has wasted some money of mine. I suspect this is such a case. Ask for more/better photos...

    clearly a "0". A 9 would look like a 6, just upside down.

zeros are symmetrical (oder?) and that is clearly not ... there is something funky happening ‘top right’ of the ‘zero’.

Now that is obscured on the "0" :) 6 and 9 are easyto tell, always. Wait a second, going to the archive here for pics.

your logic (6 and 9s) was my first thought too. I have been fooled (and I know not just me!) more than once with strangle angle shots of these old stamped numbers, hence my advice to ask for more pics. Already looked at my pic archive for zeros ;) and found them.

There we go: 0, 9. 0 is oval, 6 and 9 easy to tell apart from the 0 :)

As can be seen 0’s are perfectly symmetrical in horizontal and vertical axes...and yet Passovers pic is not (for the 0). Let’s bet beers : I say it’s a 9, and not a 0 :)

This exact ability of these numbers to be distorted by certain conditions has cost me many rounds of Negronis (ala extracts) so...I don’t mind to add a few more :D
