284 hands please

My 1950s 2910 is looking pretty good but is let down by a couple of tired looking hands and I am looking to either refurbish or replace. 284 movement
If anyone has successfully cleaned up originals,sourced period replacements or used modern copies I would be interested.
Any tips ,contacts or indeed offers of suitable hands would be much appreciated

Hi Roger
I would assume the hands you have are Original to the watch. Looking at some other examples online they certainly seem consistent with other watches of this model.
I’m sure there are a number of watch repairers that would be able to offer some advice regarding what can be done with the hands. Maybe all they would need is a gentle polish and a relume to bring them into nice original alignment with the rest of the watch. I know that many guys in the UK highly recommend James Hyman for reluming hands. Whereabouts are you based?

I would certainly want to consider keeping the hands you currently have rather than replacement and would go that route first.
