Final piece I am parting with for the year is this very clean 2471/1, I have not seen a better example of this reference with this exact dial configuration. Watch was found complete with yellowed crystal, spiedel flex and dead skin (now removed!).
Description:
Dial/hands: Super clean silver dial with yellow gold colour indexes, very minor ageing only a little spec in the sub seconds dial, hands show some tarnish but no abuse, blue paint on the date hand is clean and complete. Moon disk nice and clean, no real faults to speak of, maybe some loose dust particles/specs that could be removed. Crystal is a newer replacement.
Case: Excellent sharp case body with attractively styled lugs, shows light wear and marks on the outside of the lugs but is very good overall. Case back is clean some light marks only, it has the correct finish with a grained patch in the centre and smoothed edges - believe this is untouched like the rest. Unsigned crown appears original. Approx 33mm diameter so not a large piece.
Movement: Winds, ticks and sets correctly. Screw heads are very clean, no sign of any corrosion. Clean consistently coloured plating. Again really clean cosmetic condition. 10.933XX Serial. I would recommend a service before regular use and do not wish to guarantee timekeeping.
Summary: Super nice example, so difficult to find in good condition (MSNwatch seems to have the others). I prefer to keep descriptions pretty basic and just sell off the pictures provided which I believe clearly illustrate the watches condition.
My Price: I am offering this watch for £4850 net to me via bank transfer; this includes shipping anywhere in the world (likely via Fedex). The watch is located in the UK and I could transact face-to-face in London with established members if requested.
Returns: I have never had anyone ask for a return, I would consider it only if the watch is terribly misdescribed. I am not going to refund you if it gains 12 seconds in a day after 3 weeks.
