2398-5 H?

A watch I referenced in a previous post arrived finally today. It was advertised as a 2398-5 H and I was wondering if you all could confirm. It's running like a top so I think I'll use it but sparingly for now until more pressing service needs are completed. I have a few questions about the combination of steel case, waffle dial with rose gold hardware. Is there anything unusual about that configuration and is it at all collectable? What would be the appropriate strap/bracelet for it (I kind of hate expanding bracelets). Would a "gentle cleaning/polish) diminish it's collectability?

Thanks for the input Dan! If you are referring to the dark areas around the edge I think that is predominately shadow as when the watch is tilted it seems to fade to even patina matching the rest of the face. There is a scuff from between 4-5 diagonally toward 9 Visible in pic 2.
