    Hi,

does anyone have experience with putting 22mm OEM NATO straps on 21mm lugs? Maybe with curved spring bars?
Also, on the Omega site most natos show as either 19-20mm and 21-22mm. Not sure if there’s a fixed size for those? Can anyone explain?

    Thanks.

Regarding 19-20mm OEM strap - I have one and it works very well on my PO with 19mm lug size. I use OEM straight spring bars that came with my PO.

I only ever use curved springbars with NATO straps, makes them wear approx. twice as well.

I find that 22mm NATOs will fit well enough on 20mm and up lugs.

Omega only produces two sizes in the Nylon NATOS: 19.5mm and 21.5mm. The 19.5 fits lug widths of 19 and 20 mm, while the 21.5mm fits 21 and 22. Saves them money in that they don't have to produce 4 separate sizes.

I’m guessing the leather natos, such as this one of novonappa, aren’t quite as pliable and so they come in the individual different sizes?

yes, those come in specific sizes. The one in my avatar pic is 19mm specifically for the FOIS case. I also have a 21mm for my Seamaster 300. Only the nylon straps come in the 19.5 and 21.5mm sizes.

When I bought mine in the Omega boutique they added curved spring bars and it fit very well. But I found it way too thick looking after a while and switched to 20mm though. The small gaps don't really bother me.

21/22 omega OEM NATO on 21mm lug width 43.5 planet ocean. It fits fine without any issues. Using the straight spring bars that the NATO kit came with.

Why not just buy a 21mm NATO?

    1) I wanted to go OEM Omega, while they are slightly overpriced, there is no denying the quality and finish details over aftermarket. Plus colors are a better match on the Omega NATO.

    2) Most aftermarket, not all though, don’t offer 21mm and stick with 20 or 22. The omega 21/22 size is actually a 21.5 sized to fit both a little better. I’ve seen a few 21mm options out there; but not many.

I have a black Seamaster Chronograph with a black rubber band and love it and will never sell it.

I want to get a metal bracelet, however I much prefer the Planet Ocean Bracelets instead of the Seamaster bracelets.

Does anyone know whether it will fit?

    Is it worth it?
