Depends.....will not bring that kind of Money again . It is always the first one with Phillips. Then Buyers educate themselves and that's it.....the US Army engraving is so shallow, that it can be applied easily. The correct engraving is only observed on 2 sub case references anyway. Most of these were private purchases in the PX. Nice touch is the hand radium burn on the dial..... 2000 plus a bit in my book.....kind regards. Achim

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Phillips sales reach prices completely disconnected from their current market value.
They’ve clearly created their own brand name which seems to be perceived as making a watch «bankable » and more liquid as an investment, or maybe simply more « cool » to the deep pocketed enthusiasts. Pretty much the same way Hodinkee has.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen Phillips sales reach prices completely disconnected from their current market value.
