Lol the boos Max got on the podium and the commentators saying how it's unfortunate. I'm pretty sure it's more to do with Greg Abbott presenting the trophy more than Max being on the podium.
Politicians always get the stick when appearing to present awards at non-political events. But I thought the booing was more directed at Max who seems to now draw a lot of negative attention. Like him or not you have to respect what he has done by age 26, winning 50 F1 races. He's now fifth overall and might be third by the end of the year behind only Hamilton and Schumacher. That's pretty damn impressive.

More directed at Abbott. He hasn't exactly endeared himself to people who aren't part of his political beliefs.

$245 for ice cream 🤦

It’s for 4 people. Welcome to bottle service. Your paying for the table.

Both of them have a good number of people who don't like them.

Congratulations to Max on win #50. It was a good run at the end by Lewis to chase down Max and make it interesting. Lando also gave it a good run but the McLaren faded at the end.
Poor Charles was screwed by Ferrari's indecision again. ::facepalm1::

might want to recheck those standings.

Maybe the new floor at Mercedes isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Literally.

they think it’s due to the bumpy track, the sprint race and only one practice session to dial the car in.

FIA said tough you need to ensure you stay within the rules.

I’m just wondering if Lewis’s car with the new floor, was run as high as George’s with the old, would have been as fast.

Hard to say

Lewis is known for liking a more tail happy car which would make you think the rear has a harder spring rate and less travel, and as such has a lower height setting.

Pretty unlucky that they only test 4 cars on that basis, probably half the grid would be disqualified if they checked them all.

Looks like they only checked the podium and pole sitter. Doesn't make too much sense to not check Sainz once he got promoted but oh well.

With a 50% failure rate, one would think they at least check a few more cars. That bumpy track had to play a role in excessive grinding down of the skid plate.

I don't think they wanted so many DQ's and DNF's that there wouldn't be enough cars to fill out the top 10.

One youtuber said that Charles hit the triple crown of race failures from pole: DQ'd, DNF, and DNS.

Plus the team order to swap positions with Sainz at the end.

The other team cars Russell and Sainz will be virtually identical, it makes no sense ..They should check everybody or nobody.

I am sure there isn't a car on the grid that couldn't be found to be in violation of some point in the regulations if they looked hard enough. Why they went down this rabbit hole is unknown, maybe they were dobbed in by another team and the scrutineers had to act. Seems a bit odd to upend the results like that. Reminds of the old quote, "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime". The cars were shown and the discovery of the crime followed.
