Showers passing fairly close by. For scale the town of Banbury is about 20km from Silverstone.

Mega drive by Norris to secure 2nd place at his home GP. I feel bad for Piastri as that safety car cost him a podium position.

It was a decent race and the Mclaren was fast on hard rubber. The Redbull car showed its pace again. Some heavy rain would have added some spice to it but it was not to be and in the end it was nice to see the two lads on the podium.

Once again, Ferrari strategy fails both drivers. Lewis benefits from the yellow, while other teams botch it. Mercedes is the 3rd fastest car on the track.

Once again Max wins.
Softs tires didn't make the difference after the restart.
McLaren looks strong the last 2 races.
The Aston's are suffering more and more.
Who's gonna finish 2nd ?

Seems Aston鈥檚 upgrades a few weeks ago took them backwards, McLaren found something thats working. Frankly I am happy to see some non RedBull teams step it up.

Yeah Lando is such a good driver, and let's hope the development and upgrades continue in the right direction for him and Piastri who is also
really talented, it's great to see the competitiveness between the two of them, I think it will bring out the best in both of them; they both had a great start and Piastri was fantastically instinctive and aggressive off the line and almost had Verstappen; as soon as DRS was enabled (especially on the Red Bull) it was inevitable that Lando wouldn't be able to hold off Verstappen.. If it had been a wet race DRS would have been suspended, it could have been a very different story. Feel a bit sorry for Piastri, but Lewis also had a great drive and was there when it mattered to take advantage of the full SC. Don't know if this is the case but, perhaps Aston Martin are having correlation issues with their
all-new facility and brand-new on-site wind tunnel.. Anyone have any thoughts or insights??

Yes and no - I assume it would have looked different without safety car but didn't make sense at all doing 2 pitstops in such a short time... Again bad luck for Ferrari plus not optimal strategy.

Imagine him coming back to RBR in the very near future and giving Max a real challenge lol.
If I was Max, I'd be sweating a little....just sayin'
