edit - I have just seen that it鈥檚 the same thickness as the 41mm at 14.6mm so may be a non-runner
I never understood the thin bezel / thick midcase / flat caseback design. And slab sides. As if they only cared how the watches look like from the front...
I've found that the Tudor models I've been interested in were really disappointing when handled in real life. No issues with finishing, but very two-dimensional looking. The flat dial of the Monte Carlo looks great in photos, but like a paper print-out in real life 馃檨

wow all they needed to do was keep the case of the BB58 for a homerun, they must know this... so it has to be on purpose for whatever reason. smh
probably just price, if not market segmentation
compared to the BB58, the GMT function likely necessitates some added height in the movement
while the SkyDweller has a GMT function and an annual calendar, and is 0.5mm thinner - it鈥檚 also $14,000
the difference is maybe just in the expense of making a thin, capable, GMT movement (if not intentional market segmentation)
