Although this was a difficult year for most on this planet , OF has been a haven to the few of us that get to enjoy the friendships and camaraderie here. Part of that fun is being able to indulge our hobby by buying, selling and trading among like-minded friends. I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few friends here who helped me meet a few goals in my collection during 2021.

I didn’t buy this one from a for sale post, I was offered it during a conversation about Sparkle dial Seamasters with @JohnSteed aka Spencer.

Had a good chat, struck a fair deal, had a custom strap made, and It’s the one I wear the most!

I was lucky enough to purchase these three from an OF member this year. None of the watches I sold stayed in the family.

Great thread!

Happy to say I sold a few and all stayed in the OF Fam. But the sweetest watch moment of the year came when a casual mention of needing to finally add a Pie Pan to the collection led to the great @MikeMan2727 offering me this wrist perfection. Happy to say Mike has become a good friend and I will forever be grateful to him for giving up this beauty! (On my wrist as I type this and enjoy a fine cup.)

Crisp case, perfect amount of patina, what more can you ask for? She has a permanent spot in my collection!

I’m beginning to take it personal that @JwRosenthal hasnt sold me anything in 2021!
