Hi all,
I am looking for some advice regarding a new strap I would like to buy for my Seamaster 300. I plan in the future buying the Omega rubber strap but at £250 I will hold off for a while. I noticed that watch Gecko sell a modern tropic strap in blue which I am keep to try. Will the standard 0.9 tip spring bar fit nice and tight into the lugs or should I get the seiko style which is 1.1mm thick. Just want to ensure that the spring bar will not be loose in the lug hole.

Here is a link to the strap in question:

0.9mm is fine (note that non branded spring bars have 0.8mm). I doubt the 1.1mm will even fit.

If I were you I would buy original Omega 20mm spring bars. The ones that come with the bracelet are most likely 19mm and will jump out easily when on a regular strap.

Is this for all Omega models? I used springbar from Globemaster bracelet for strap I got from Watchbandit? It seems to me that everything clicked in but now I am little worried ?
I think that it should not pop out but I have zero experiance with strap changeing so better ask tham sorry.

Also where online I can buy 20mm original Omega spring bar?

I'm not sure if it's applicable for all models but it's easy to check, if you can put the bare spring bar (without strap or bracelet) in and out with your fingers without any real effort or force you have one that is a size smaller than the actual lug width.

This site seemingly sells the spring bars but I have never dealt with them => https://www.ofrei.com/
It's better to go to an AD or boutique and ask them for a pair, I got mine for free.

In my case I ordered strap and it arrived with its own springbars which seems too low quality comparing to omegas. So I decided to use omegas from braclete and I am using it like that for last 10 days but today I learned that there is difference and I am now not sure what to do: continue using it with braclet springbars or swotch back to braclete or even switch to those low quality ones? I ordered new springbar 068ST2208 but not sure what to do untill they arrive (what is safest option).
