2012 Chocolate Dial Speedy?

I am looking at purchasing a Chocolate Dial Speedy from 2012 with the Sapphire case back but I don't know much about the rarity of the Chocolate Dial or why its Chocolate.

Can anyone give me a little info re these pieces please, thanks 馃榾

They are quite rare because no-one bought them. Omega discontinued them because of poor sales.

Here鈥檚 a picture of mine. I like the subtle difference in dial color, other than that, it鈥檚 a sapphire sandwich, which I also like. I think they started to produce them around 2007 and stopped in 2012.

As with the photo I posted, not a lot of chocolate on the dial is that correct?

The brown color of the dial is noticeable, not overwhelming.

I have one. Love it. The brown of the dial is very subtle and it looks excellent on a steel bracelet.

I've owned 2. It is beautiful in all light conditions. It is different enough to give you a sense of independence form the herd. Sapphire front and back to me is a plus as I'm not a fan of the hesalite.

I sold mine in NOS condition with all stickers attached at 6 k EUR around 3 months ago.

i saw this choco dial reissue in the flesh and really looks good with no obvious difference from a '68 version. in fact i regretted the chance when one was offered to me at a low price then. and this reissue speedy could be a sleeper with 1861 driver in days to come.馃槈
