路路Oooo subtitles!The elephant in the room regarding the 5100 is that the reason it has decent shock performance is that it is full of plastic. It was designed to be cheap and robust for service in military Chronos. Now this in itself is not necessarily a bad thing but if you take a look at a pic it isn't exactly pretty. Much less finishing on the rotor and bridges than is usual on earlier Omega movements and big grey plastic bumpers under the rotor. The Grail is a great looking watch but a 7751 based triple date/mk 40 basically does the same for about a fifth the cost. Granted they don't look as good!
The 5100 lives on within Swatch group of course. The current Tissot C01.211 is a simplified version minus the iconic centre minute counter and some detail design changes.

Well it doesn't really lack the the 24 hr function... rather does it (=cal.7754) sport a true, independent GMT complication with quick set feature for the main hour hand (+1 or -1 hr increments without hacking the second hand)
...and did I mention it is chronometer certified 馃榿
Plus it looks cool if you put red hands on it

路I stand corrected about the day function. However, the 7750 indeed lacks other important features possessed by the 5100 -- a 24 hr "GMT" hand, as well as the central minutes chronograph functionality.
Also untrue with regard to the 24 hour indicator. Look at the 7750 based Omega Speedmaster Automatic 3520.50.00

No, I'm after an all original, full set
"Baby PloProf" i.e. Ref:- 166.0250, 166.0251 or 166.0177 and if that isn't hard enough it would ideally have one of the special order chronometer grade movements (1011 or 1012) and no Watchco or other fantasy priced "NOS" DIY jobs. Someone ought to do a thorough review on these buggers; we're in danger of thread creep here.
