·Most Submariners don't have the etched crown, although this was introduced in Sapphire glass for GMT-master 1999 onwards...

I remember when you asked about trading these for a Pepsi or something else. So glad you didn't as they are very very beautiful pieces. I'm usually a bit unexcited with the polars but yours is awesome.

Yes! I’m really glad I posted about it on the forums. I was really thinking about it but after reading everyone’s replies (many who have probably already gone through similar situations) I decided I would end up regretting it. Now just saving up for a matte dial Rolex.
