14060M is on my hit list for watch to buy. When I find a minty unpolished, unmolested full set from 05/06 reasonably priced I will probably pull the trigger. So, no I don't own yet, but this is a reference I like. You started an interesting thread and I hope the pics grow with folks distinquishing M or no M. Seems to be best of the old school, but with an upgraded movement as long as you get the "M" reference. Now, the "M" seems to have the newer dial with the wg surrounds, but it's still not maxi so I like it. Many here know way more than I, so I'm here to learn...

Love me some 2 liner subs! Those two on each end are gorgeous. The middle one is alright too. Just love the older aged tritium dials without the white gold surrounds.

I've got a 1990 14060, I'll try and post a pic later and I love it. Something about the no date combined with the two lines on the bottom - it's as clean and classic as it gets.

My first Rolex was this. Absolutely love it. Y-series.

As a guy with almost zero Rolex knowledge... What year is the sub in the second photo? I tend to drool a little when I see submariner with those wide and flat hour markers. Very beautiful.

    Regards,
    Alex

Thanks man, it’s a 1970-71 I think, cannot remember. It’s a 1 owner watch, hard to beat the condition and patina on it.

I can understand that it is a nice example, the bezel is also nice. I just love the powdery look of them over modern raised hour markers.

Reminds me of this childhood candy...

20190621_202959.jpg received_984631011738805.jpeg received_1476578122476980.jpeg My 14060 from circa 1997- T series. Picked this up a few months back and absolutely love it.

It has a matte dial developing, but it's difficult to capture this on film.

Short answer. Yes. There's more to it as far as composition and all the photography stuff but, yes.

    Have fun
