Lovely piece ! Don't change anything, just have it cleaned ! Only change parts from the caliber, try to find the right old missing pusher and you could maybe find a new bracelet 馃槈 And please share pictures! Enjoy your watch and stay safe !

Beautiful heirloom!!! I'm sure that in the right hands it will turn out great. I am having trouble though picturing someone wearing it with that strap!!! Like owning a Lambo and never getting it washed!!

My dad wore this watch everyday for over 20 years. He said the failing strap was just giving the watch, personality! LOL

Watches with this kind of history and sentimental value are the best!
I think keeping the dial in the same condition that it was when the watch belonged to him is a terrific homage to your father.
As some of the others said, get the movement serviced by an Omega specialist.

Did I miss it elsewhere in the thread, what kind of strap are you thinking of replacing it with?

I haven't decided on the strap, as of yet. Been focused so much on the watch itself. I am open to suggestions though.
