·The watch needs a service, it doesn't keep running for long, all functions work including the chrono and the date functions. Behaviour points to a need of a regular service.
Our own @noless can service it for an additional $200 - the service includes a gasket and pusher springs if they need changing, it won't include the extra parts, parts shouldn't be hard to find or costly if they need changing. The turnaround time is 2+ months.
This could make a good daily watch when serviced, from the signs the previous owner enjoyed it as well. I really debated having it serviced and making it a daily watch myself, it's been one of my grails and maybe other members saw my posts trying on a regular Mark 40. Ultimately decided to stick to dress watches.
Shipping is $8 to $30 based on location
