Omega Speedmaster Mark III cal. 1040 - $2,300

Selling several watches that I haven’t been wearing. Next up is my vintage Speedmaster Mark III Professional, ref. 176.002 cal. 1040. Watch is in very good vintage condition. Although not perfect, the case is very sharp and original, and unpolished. This sets it apart from almost every Mark III on the market which are either badly polished or refinished.

Mark III pilot style case is unpolished and in excellent condition. It retains its sharp edges but does show some minor surface marks. This case has original horizontal brushing.

Black professional D3 dial is original and very attractive with lume intact.

Hands are original with syringe/needle type hour hand and lume is intact with patina matching the dial.

Bezel is original tachymetre bezel in great shape.

Pushers and crown functioning as they should.

Movement sets, starts, stops, resets, and keeps time, service history is unknown. I have not wound and set it often and when I do it runs around 30 seconds fast. It is probably due for a service and I recommend it if you plan on wearing this daily.

Comes on a non-Omega oyster-style bracelet with Mexican Omega clasp. Bracelet fits a 7.75 inch wrist.
