Hi, I bought this 1991 Omega Speedmaster 3590.50. Its going to be a bit of a project watch. As you can see from the pictures, it is currently fitted with an aftermarket bracelet. Does anyone have a 1479 812 bracelet? Thanks

well that's no fun.
Its ok, they confirmed they are cool to service it without a bracelet. So I will just wear it on a nato and keep my eyes peeled. A correct bracelet will eventually turn up.

Or maybe one of the flat-link bracelets from Uncle Seiko or Forstner?

I have a 1479/812 on my 1991 Speedmaster 145.0022. You can’t have it because it is on my wrist
Damn, these bracelet are about $1,000 if you can find one.

Yeah they are quite common at that price, but I have seen completed listings where they have sold for $400. Its just about patience.

Very tempted to buy an Uncle Seiko flat link. Thanks for the tip on this, they look amazing.

Since pictures enrich the conversation. A flat link. These are quite handsome. $89?

I'm guessing my watch is from 1991, it might be from a few years

As I remember Forstner also had a Flat link bracelet fully brushed with no polished areas and that one looks incredible! By the way, great watch!

The Forstner has screws rather than cheap friction pins. It costs considerably more, but I am thinking of buying that over the Uncle Seiko. It uses steel friction pins which will rust if they are exposed to water. It looks fantastic and I think it has better fitted end links. Heck, I might get both, we'll see.

I had both... the Forstner fit my watch (WatchCo Seamaster 300) better, but used a difference clasp type than Omega, so I had to change the whole clasp. The Uncle Seiko end links didn't fit as well, but the clasp is the same style as Omega so just a clasp cover is all you need.

The Uncle Seiko end links seem to fit a Speedmaster pretty well and are flatter. Forstner chose to go for what he considered looks better but is perhaps less historically acccurate.

I didn't notice the difference in screws and pins until now. So now Forstner is better decision for sure!

Good luck on your search. It’s one of my favorite speedy bracelets!
