I’m considering buying my first Speedmaster and am considering this one. It’s listed as a 1988 145.002. Does it look it ‘right’? I wasn’t sure if the dial had been replaced. Thanks.

Well if it was replaced, it was done before 1997. That looks like an 80s dial to me, though it’s very white for tritium, it could just be the pic. How are they dating it at 1988? If only by the serial then be aware dating Speedmasters from the 70s-90s can be vague at best.

It’s got box and papers with it, so I assume they’re dating it from that too.
