Here's mine. Not for sale sorry. My first real love. Inspired by Magnum PI. I even have the Chronosport worn in the first few seasons.
Traded for this from a dealer at the Dallas watch show a few years back. Original hands had some lume missing so they are nicely stored away. Great instrument to wear every day. Good luck with your search.

Seems right...you should be looking for a 16750 if you want a pepsi bezel. There was also the 16760 which was available in 1987 with the sapphire crystal but coke bezel. I think you'll probably spend $5-6k for a nice example.

x 2 with all of the above.

What I have done in the past is go to sites like HQ Milton and enter the year in the search box. I just had a quick look and there is a 16760 on there right now in the high 5's. There are no 16750 models from 1987, at the moment. Daily visits to The Rolex Forum might eventually yield the year, model and condition you are looking for.

You might find this link useful for model references and the specifics of each

You can have a look at ref 16760 - Called Fat Lady, was the first to set the Sapphire Crystal.
Or you can find a late 16750 if you like the Plexy

I love the Pepsi's, Just sold two of mine, Nice gilt's run 8K up and matte dials low 4's to high 6's depending on lots of things 😀
I just looked at a Fat Lady and a 16750 yesterday. 16760's with matte dials holding strong but later white gold surrounds seem softer at under 5K with decent to good jubilee or oyster bracelets. This is just in my area of Florida fyi.

Nice gilts seem to be running more than $8k nowadays...I remember when they were in the 6k range. 🙁

I hear that, When I started there was little difference in the gilt or matte dials, same with red letter vs. white letter subs and as information via the net came about prices really increased. I deal mostly with watchmakers and public so my prices are at wholesale usually and I have purchased in last 12 months late gilt, 1.3-1.5 at the lower end. But my PCG Chocolate GMT was considerably more $$. so I can agree with you. I like this forum as members are mostly free with information and comments without the ego so much. kind regards, m

I'm looking and just found a 1969. At that age all of them run 7000 to 8500 on the lower end for a minimum level of original parts and good shape. From 70s up they tend to go bellow 8g 80's and 80's around the 6g. That's my experience anyway.

That wouldn't have been a bad investment. According to my Aug. 1986 price list a 16750, in the UK, would have cost £834 including VAT. or a whopping £871 if you wanted it on a jubilee bracelet.

Mind you, a 6265/0 Cosmograph was only £882 and what did I buy? ... a 15010 Perpetual Date, for £758.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing 🙁

I bought my first Rolex- a 1675 with jubilee bracelet in Scotland in 1979. If I remember, it cost around £680 ($1020). I traded it in 5 years later at a Rolex AD for a Datejust and was given £250 for it. I'm looking for a late 70s 1675 now and will have to pay almost 20 times that trade in price for a good one.

If only I'd held onto it...

I should have known u sooner. I would have taken those off ur hands in a blink. One have to b really fortunate to find a 1675/16750 in good condition for under 6k. The gilt variety can go over 20k for a nice specimen. [emoji106]

Looks like some service replacement parts here. Can you provide a little more information about the watch / package as it is being offered to you from the seller to justify his asking price?

Box and papers. Ive contacted seller- He's out of NYC. I have a feeling his asking price is high to leave room for negotiating.
