SS1019
·Hello, I am new to the forum and looking for information regarding my father's Omega Automatic Seamaster De Ville which I inherited. This was a gift from his work for 25 years so the back cover is engraved. I have owned it since about 1990 and my wife had it "serviced" by a local watch maker for Christmas a few years back. I assume it is about a 1980 model, however I cannot confirm that. I am looking for information regarding setting the day. The date and time will set however I cannot find out how to set the day. I'm also very interested in any manuals or such that may have been delivered with the watch new. It appears to keep time and if I set the date it does seem to track although I cannot verify the day following. This is an heirloom and I want to keep it in working condition. I do wear it from time to time however it is not out of the ordinary for it to set for up to a year in a case. Thank you in advance for any help you may have.
