Is this dial available to order from a boutique or AD? I know the boutique won't install it for you but I haven't had issue ordering bracelet clasps for my speedy and just installing it myself.

 

No on several levels. Firstly you won’t be able to order that dial, secondly an AD will no longer supply parts other than bracelets and straps so even if the dial were available they wouldn’t supply it. An authorised service centre might allow a dial swap under certain circumstances but only if the dial is available and that one won’t be.

 

So you've tried to order an older dial before? I had a boutique allow me to swap a spectre bezel onto a regular 300mc no problem and that was a part from a limited edition piece.

 

That dial was rare to start with, I bet they only made about 20 back in the 70s. Even if it were not rare there is no way they would sell or fit you a tritium lume dial today. No chance.

 

An OB? That’s impressive. Not the bezel though... also not sure why you want the dial... the bezel is the crown jewel. The dial is meh.

I’m betting I can get the ST1 dial from the boutique. Prefer the all black of the Alaska.

 

I'll take that bet. You wont. Parts like these fitted to LEs are now on exchange basis, even for mainstream production models they will no longer sell you a loose dial of any kind.

Only available as an exchange. Not all LE dials are only on exchange, but a few are.

Also Omega doesn't sell dials to anyone who asks, even if they are readily available. Straps, buckles, and bracelets are not restricted parts, so anyone can buy those, but the parts of the actual watch head are not available for sale to the public. If a boutique sold you a bezel from one model to fit on a completely different model, they violated a few Omega policies in the process.
