Bought this Seiko Lord Matic today, a 5606-7071S from a local collector. It's in really nice looking and running condition.

Nice design, very similar to a Cal 751 C-case Connie, I’d not ever heard of Lord Matic before, sounds like royalty on demand

Nice one! The Lord Matic line is generally great value for money when it comes to vintage Seiko or vintage watches in general. And lots of case and dial designs to choose from.

Part of Seiko's very creatice naming approach. A Seiko with an automatic movement becomes a Seikomatic. A Seiko with a bell (alarm) and an automatic movement becomes a Bellmatic. And a Lord Marvel successor with an automatic movement becomes, well, you guessed it...

Unfortunately with mine it's running quite fast, even faster on the wrist than on the timegrapher. I don't know that I want to spend the money to get it serviced. Since It's's a front loader even if it just needs to be regulated it'll cost more.

I knew when I bought it that it might need servicing, I took a chance it wouldn't. The dial, hands and case are in such good condition though, so I may get it serviced.

Update: It's working fine now that it's been running longer. I redid the timegrapher too, it shows the watch running a bit slow. 🤷‍♂️
