·For sale or trade is a very nice circa 1969/1970 Vintage Omega Speedmaster reference 145.022-69.
The watch is in very good vintage condition. The case is extremely think & sharp and the caseback / bracelet engravings are all very crisp. It does not appear to have been polished to my eye.
The watch comes on the original 1039/516 No13 Bracelet with 3/70 date code. The bracelet is in excellent condition and should comfortably fit up to an ~8 inch wrist.
The bezel is a DON in excellent condition. The crystal appears original to the watch and shows many years of abuse. It bears the Omega logo.
29.6 million serial. The correct '69 anti-magnetic dust cover is included, but not shown.
The dial looks very clean and any marks seen appear to be on the crystal. When exposed to black light it glows very briefly and quickly goes to a very faint glow and then nothing.
The watch is currently running and keeping time to within ~20 or so seconds a day and it starts/stop/resets without any trouble. It winds just fine and the power reserve seems okay, as well. Long term I would definitely recommend a service or tune up, but it is not crucial at this moment as it appears to be running within reason.
Now asking only $8,090 FIRM (REDUCED AGAIN / FINAL REDUCTION) shipped via wire. Will consider various trade offers, but please let me know what you have and propose a value when inquiring. Prefer Rolex, IWC, and Omega sports models. Preference given for a straight sale.
Thanks for looking!
