·Alright gang, many of yall probably read about this watch in my recent posts, but its going up for grabs!
Watch is a true "barn find"time capsule that has never been serviced, and was only opened for the first time by the gentleman I purchased it from. He opened it in my presence to exhibit the movement. You'll see it is devoid of service markings and the movement is pristine. Although it has not been service it is keeping perfect time, all functions operate exceptionally, and a power reserve of an observed 43 hours. I don't believe this watch was run much at all, and the gasket within the caseback is still in nearly perfect condition, assuming it was in a moderate temperature climate. Case is truly *UNPOLISHED* which I tried my best to capture in photos. This watch has to be seen in the metal to believe it, as I think it may be the sharpest pre moon 69 I have seen come up for sale. Absolutely untouched.
The watch retains its original 1039 bracelet with all 7 of the expandable links still attached, although it is missing one of the 516 end links. The original clasp is sticky and the elastic links are very tight with no play whatsoever. This bracelet was clearly never used much if at all.
Perfectly matching patina as you will see, and not a single SPECK on the dial. Any marks seen in the photos are on the crystal, which was only very lightly cleaned to allow better viewing of the dial.

The gentleman I purchased the watch from had never worn the it, and the original owner clearly wore the watch a few times and stuck it in a sock drawer.
There is some light flaking on the bezel as can be seen in the photos on the insert but nothing major. Bezel itself is in exceptional condition to match the rest of the watch, with only tiny marks near 7 o'clock.

Pre-Moon caseback, Serial is 2842xxxx which would indicate early 1969 (pre-moon landing!)
