I guess it would be 2004? Unless something broke right after the 2015 service which required replacement a year later.

Was it common practice to remove older service stamps to make room for new ones? Otherwise, these watch wasnt really serviced very much at all over the past 50 years.
I think it’s more common for a watch to get worn for a decade or two without any service, something goes wrong, then it sit in a drawer for 20 years- gets sold off and the next owner has it serviced- then worn for a decade without any service, then something goes wrong....

Before I polished the plexi it had the tell tale signs of being left face down for a long period, possibly in a drawer. So you are definitely on to something there...

If "16330" is a date, it almost certainly doesn't mean H16 (2004) as I speculated above. I don't think anyone would write the 2004 date like that.

I’m so glad you are in love with your new watch- as you should be- now please tell everyone how overpriced, overrated and utterly horrible these watches are so those of us who don’t have one yet can still be able to afford one.
Couple of years ago I was having dinner in a small Spanish village next to the sea with some friends. I was following a auction of a SM 60 at the same time. Yes, my priorities were fu... up. But sadly we had so much fun I totally forgot about the auction at the moment supreme. The watch went for EUR 670. ::facepalm1::

Great pickup for a great price. Wear it in good health.
If I got it for a good price it must have been down to the bad photos. I didnt know what I was doing when I bid on this.

Wow... Stunning! Congrats.
If you don't mind me asking, how did the shipping and custom's cost come about? Was it significant?

I pay my import tax like every honest citizen. It wasnt too much in the grand scheme of things considering I got a massive bargain.
