That is one of my grails- don’t do a damn thing to it other than a crystal polish and movement service. And if it hasn’t been said- dibs.

Oh thats good to know. I took a massive punt on this one and it was all just due to its appearance. I gave the plexi a polish, but I agree, I wont touch the case.

Here’s your choices of what the factory says was a match to that watch. This should give you some good hunting.

In case you haven’t seen these lists before, the first number is the bracelet numbers- after the / is the endlinks

Oh wow thanks, I thought I only had one bracelet too look for. This broadens my search quite a bit! Well I should definitely find a suitable bracelet at some stage in the not to distant future.

Those are the compatible options according to Omega. I have found that some are common and some aren’t. Some are very expensive and some aren’t. Those look like the SM120 combinations as well so they won’t be cheap, but not crazy like the flatlinks for the SM300’s or Speedmaster of the same period

Yeah the lume is amazing isnt it? Thats the one thing I could see when I bought it as the photos were terrible. So I got lucky with that.

Very nice. The markings inside are about the minute hand and shaft, something about the second hand and maybe the crown. The dates inside are 2015, 2004, and maybe 1989. Very handsome watch and it looks right at home with that bracelet, I think.

2015 for the last service is good news. It’s due, but not pressing- you can take your time finding a watchmaker who knows vintage Omega and still enjoy the watch.

How did you see those dates? Im amazed. I stared at those stamps trying to make sense. Thats wonderful news that it was serviced in 2015, you never know with these older watches.

The only date I'm confident about is "H27," which is Heisei 27, or 2015. The Heisei Emperor just retired last year in the 31st year of his reign. We're now in "R2," second year of the Reiwa era. I really have no idea if "16330" means H16 (2004) or 2016, but whoever made those notes also wrote what looks to me like minute hand, minute shaft, and seconds something something.

The dial on this watch looks amazingly glossy. Does anyone know more about these dials, is it enamel? Thanks

I’m so glad you are in love with your new watch- as you should be- now please tell everyone how overpriced, overrated and utterly horrible these watches are so those of us who don’t have one yet can still be able to afford one.

I guess it would be 2004? Unless something broke right after the 2015 service which required replacement a year later.

Was it common practice to remove older service stamps to make room for new ones? Otherwise, these watch wasnt really serviced very much at all over the past 50 years.
