Ramone
·For sale is a great, honest example of a 'meters first' ref. 5513 Submariner.
Excellent matte dial with 'puffy', slightly greenish lume (tritium/zinc sulfide) that still briefly glows when exposed to intense light, which is correct for this period. The original hands (not re-lumed) match nicely.
The case is in very thick and symmetrical condition, with the original bevels still slightly visible on the lugs. Serial and ref numbers clearly visible.
The bezel insert is period-correct MK2/'long 5' in very nice condition, including original lume pip.
Caseback is stamped II.67 which corresponds with the 1.6xxx serial number (1967). No corrosion underneath the caseback.
Bracelet is a newer 93150 oyster with 580 end links, divers extension and X2 date code. It still has all its original links and has light stretch as shown in pics.
Movement runs as it should, but service history is unknown.
Priced to sell at EUR 11.750 via bank wire.
The watch is located in the Netherlands, EU. Insured shipping at buyer's cost and risk (buyer may choose method of shipping). Local pick-up welcome for buyers with solid references.
I can be reached at [email protected] for any questions. Plenty of worldwide references available on request.
Return for full refund (minus shipping/insurance/customs charges) within 3 days if not original or not as described/pictured. Returned watch must be received in the same condition as when it was originally shipped. Any possible customs charges, such as import duties or taxes (not applicable within the EU) are the responsibility of the buyer.
Thanks for looking and thanks for the space 😀
