Assuming a WatchCo type build uses a 552 movement in a 166.0324 case to replicate a 165.024 appearance.
I’ve read that early 552 movements, where the Omega symbol stamped on the train bridge lacks the numeral “1” inside the legs of the logo, the movement does not have an extended hand height modification to accommodate domed or pie pan dials. Does a 165.024 dial require a 552 movement with hand height modification where the “1” is stamped or will the non “1” stamped movement also work?

The dial isn't domed on the SM300, so it should be fine...

Just FYI this affects three parts - sweep seconds pinion, hour wheel, and cannon pinion.
