I reluctantly offer my beautiful 1965 Rolex 1675 GMT to help fund a grail purchase.

This is one of the best looking GMT's I've seen in years. It is a one owner watch, it was acquired from the family of the original owner.

The 1675 case is unpolished, 1.3 mil serial sharply engraved between the lugs, case back stamped II.65. Unpolished full Case Lugs / Crown Guards

Original Gloss Gilt Dial - Rare, Excellent condition, well-preserved; very few subtle scratches on gloss only visible under loupe, no watermarks or de-glossing. a stunning dial.

Original Fat-Font bezel insert - nicely aged and evenly faded

Original, nice matching hands (Hour hand lume repaired/matched by master Rolex watchmaker Bob Ridley).

Original 7206 /80 bracelet, unpolished. Good condition, no stretch- Dated 2-66

Single owner, authentic in its entirety.

Serviced in 2014 and running perfectly

Would you people please stop this nonsense!... Enough already....

I am trying to get back to my normal point of view i.e. "Vintage Rolex is absurdly overpriced...Vintage Rolex is very poor value for the money...Vintage Rolex is fraught with peril....Vintage Rolex has an attitude problem...Vintage Rolex is for the bad people...Vintage Rolex stole my lunch money in 8th grade..."

But these incredible pictures of these amazing watches is making me want to do nasty things to my collection. Like sell a bunch of it to finance just one of these beauties..

I am so ashamed...

Well, it's nothing to be ashamed about. 'Hi, I'm Doug, and I'm a watchaholic'...

'WELCOME!"

We are all afflicted in the same manner... very normal behavior in this neck of the web 😁👍..
