I reluctantly offer my beautiful 1965 Rolex 1675 GMT to help fund a grail purchase.

This is one of the best looking GMT's I've seen in years. It is a one owner watch, it was acquired from the family of the original owner.

The 1675 case is unpolished, 1.3 mil serial sharply engraved between the lugs, case back stamped II.65. Unpolished full Case Lugs / Crown Guards

Original Gloss Gilt Dial – Rare, Excellent condition, well-preserved; very few subtle scratches on gloss only visible under loupe, no watermarks or de-glossing. a stunning dial.

Original Fat-Font bezel insert - nicely aged and evenly faded

Original, nice matching hands (Hour hand lume repaired/matched by master Rolex watchmaker Bob Ridley).

Original 7206 /80 bracelet, unpolished. Good condition, no stretch- Dated 2-66

Single owner, authentic in its entirety.

Serviced in 2014 and running perfectly

I'm not a big Rolex guy but....this one certainly ticks all the right boxes.
    A superb watch.

This is a corker and I don't even much like Rolex what a beauty, this won't hang around and if the price was reduced by about 90% then not only could I afford it, but I would be prepared to bury any reservations about Rolex generally - and that's my best offer. GLWS.

Same here. Not a Rolex guy at all. Had a nice mf 5513 once that I sold.
But this one really put a hook into me. I'm literally thinking about which 3 watches I can sell quickly...

Damn! I was really thinking about this one!

I had it all planned out: "let's see now, if I sell 5 Datejusts and 1 IWC 666 that makes..."

Good call......and not to go all Eddie Haskell on you thread for the mods, but you should add the WITHDRAWN prefix to your title! :D

Couldn't you at least post a picture in the WRUW-thread, so that I can have something to drool over :D
